January 21st "Stop trying to be ”good” and start trying to be GOD’S. He doesn’t want you to do everything right, living straight out of the bible without loving him or knowing him.
The most important command is to ‘Love your god with all your heart, with all your soul and all your mind… ” so when we actually do this, when we actually love God and know him deeply we will WANT to do his word instead of doing it out of fear or legalism. Surround yourself with his word, his voice and his presence and you won’t need anything else.
This year I choose God and I am far too excited for what he’s going to do each day I give over to him."
